[Identified] Due to a power outage that occurred during scheduled maintenance within the BorgCube server room campus users are unable to access the HPC clusters. IT is currently working with facilities and contractors in order to restore power and access to the HPC clusters. [Identified] OIT is aware that there is an issue with Box Search this morning - currently, campus members may run into an error when attempting to use the search function. The Box vendor began reporting issues at 8:52 am this morning and they are working on resolving the issue. You can watch for updates on the Box status page (https://status.box.com). We’ll update this page as we see Box begin to recover.

Description

OIT will be performing maintenance on our Microsoft 365 platform to disable the Yammer service on Sunday, June 16 from 9:00 pm through 9:05 pm. This maintenance will remove access to Yammer from the UC Merced service offering in Microsoft 365.

[Resolved] The CatCard Office has informed OIT that the CatCard services disruption has been resolved and all CatCard services should be functioning as expected. [Identified] OIT has worked with Document Services to restore staff/faculty departmental printing on CatCard enabled printers while the CatCard services upgrade continues. Printing for students and printing from personal funds continues to be disabled and those trying to print will receive error messages. Other services continue to be offline as follows: • CatCard Mobile ID and iCheckIn services will be offline • CatCards cannot be used as a payment method at campus services that accept them • Any changes to lock/access services will not take effect until the upgrade is finished (Note: CatCards can still be used to access spaces if access was granted before the upgrade began.)
